Religiously inclined people love ask this tricky question to test people' religiosity. My answer would be a religion that accommodates questioning/probing existence and validity of its supreme creator. A religion that promotes science and spirituality rather than setting strict guidelines for its followers. There are only few better ones we can name but none of them are great. It is like answering which one is better Mafia organization with better mafiosos.

Subject: [mukto-mona] Are all religions great?
Are all religions great? Most people will say NO, and some will say yes. It depends who you ask. Let's concentrate on those who say 'yes' to the above question. Who are they? If you investigate you will find – most religious-liberals believe all religions are great, and probably most of these religious-liberals are Hindus. It's because of the religious principle, many Hindus believe in, which is – "As many opinions, as many ways." Most other religions will not believe in this principle. Therefore, to them - the great religion is the one they believe in. To atheists and agnostics, none is great. Jiten Roy |
