Drishtipat's "Candlelight Vigil" tomorrow, Feb 08 at 4.30 pm

 

Dear Community,

 

Thousands of Bangladeshi youth have gathered spontaneously in Shahbag to

call for the due punishment of war criminals, who perpetrated genocide in 1971. The demonstrations are rapidly spreading to other parts of the country.

 

Drishtipat DC is holding a candlelight vigil in front of the Bangladesh Embassy to show solidarity with our brothers and sisters in Shahbag.

 

Where: Embassy of Bangladesh, 3510 International Drive NW, 20008

 

When: February 8, Friday, 5pm to 6pm
