It is physically impossible for me to know what EVERY Muslim groups are doing in every parts of the world. I have no intention to defend any unethical choices but I CAN tell you that, Islam does NOT requires us to do such a thing.
I am sure most Sri Lankan Hindus don't wake up in the morning thinking of sending their kids with suicide vests (They are the one who INVENTED suicide bombing!!) but they do that!!
You have to ask them to find out their reasons behind such choices.

As per our own administration, they have been peaceful in their first meeting in Dhaka. They were thanked for being so peaceful.
You are right, I did not congratulate them for it.
Personally they have to stay in the limelight few more hours before I can have an educated opinion about them. They have been doing pretty much what they said, they wanted to do.
However I did notice couple of provocative statements (Which is VERY common for BD politicians) and may be they will evolve into a political platform. Too early to confirm my doubts, so stay tuned.

I understand your favourite political party gotten into a tough spot but I am exactly a fan of any political party. If you are hurt by the "News", it is authentic and there are TONS of more links that I did not share. Because I do not like personal attacks or offensive material against any party. The whole nation is SAD about the event in Ashulia and people of our country are eager to punish the criminal who committed a "Crime against humanity". It has been the topic of the nation for last few days. Our army, our students, our common people volunteered with money, time, equipment to the best of their ability.

Why one needs a slogan - "Islam is a religion of peace" in the first place. A peaceful religion will manifest itself in due course. People will know. Such slogan only makes people skeptical about the intent. No other religions has such thing, and it did not make them "violent religions."

Having said this, I should also say that Mr. Rahman's overreaction is unnecessary. I don't know if Mr. Rahman sees himself as an Islamist or not, but by now it has been well established that he is always desperate to glorify and defend Islam; he does not let any such opportunity to do so to go in vain. Love for Islam should not be translated to defending criminal acts committed by the Jihadists or being silent or indifferent when such crimes are committed. It is true that Mr. Rahman does not defend criminal acts, rather he is against such acts. But this is not enough. He is very prompt in picking an unfounded news item to emphasize that the criminals involved in recent Savar building collapse are all from AL (his favorite acronym BAL).
