A Mizoram government spokesperson said 15,000 detonators and nearly 7350 metres of Cordex was seized from Tuipui village on the Seling-Champhai Road in Mizoram's southern district of Champhai at around 5am Bangladesh time.
"This was the biggest haul of explosives in Mizoram," the spokesperson said.
"We have strong suspicion that these explosives were also heading for Bangladesh," a Mizoram police official said.
One F Lalthanhranga was carrying this consignment from the state's capital Aizawl to an unknown destination in Champhai, which is located on Mizoram's border with Myanmar.
On March 7-8 this year, the Assam Rifles and Mizoram police had seized a huge quantity of weapons, mostly China-made rifles, from a farmhouse at Lenghpui near Aizawl.
Three tribesmen arrested at Lenghpui confessed the weapons were meant for Bangladesh – all had family ties in Chittagong Hill Tracts. Two were said
to be former guerrillas of the Shanti Bahini that was demobilised after the 1997 peace accord.
Mizoram, once ravaged by insurgency, is now one of the most peaceful states in India's troubled northeast. But it has emerged as a conduit for smuggling of weapons flowing in from the Sino-Myanmarese border into northeast India and Bangladesh.

I have never heard that India blames Pakistan for Maoist attacks. India blames probably most justifiably Pakistan for Islamist attacks. I will not underestimate the havoc the Islamist terrorists can cause.

You are more than welcome to go back and study HOW media reported such incidents. Let us take last 30 years for starter. Actually Maoist rebels in India pose the greatest danger to Indians but ask any common Indians and you will discover they are NOT aware of it. They will promptly blame Pakistan for it.

Ambush means to attack from ambush. That's what they did. Has any one said that they are not terrorists? Rajib Gandhi, Indira Gandhi and Gandhi were not ambushed they were assassinated though.
