Re: [mukto-mona] FW:

You think you are a patriot; I think you are a blind-patriot. You are like a parent, who can't see the fault of his child.  You should know - this is detrimental to the well-being of the child. This is exactly what you are doing being a blind-patriot. By defending everything blindly,

>>>>>>> Have to disagree with you here. I do NOT defend anything blindly. You do not live here and you are offering fatwa about how kind the BSF are!!

That is call "Blind love"----For India (In your case).

you are fueling anti-Indian sentiment in Bangladesh, which will bring nothing good, only increase sufferings for the people in Bangladesh. Your pro-Pakistani sentiment is not a good influence in the national psyche.

>>>>>>>>>>> It is bloody Indian policies which fuels anti-Indian sentiment. You are getting angry at the messenger but ignore the message, since you are in blind love with it.

Again if you cannot win an argument, you resort to personal attack. WHERE did I express anything about Pakistan? Pakistan was not even part of our conversation. Since you brought it up. I am against all kind of Rajakars (Indian or Pakistani). To me there is no difference between a rajakar who do cheer leading dance while our innocent unarmed civilians lie dead on ground. Maybe you ought to think about your position here. You claim to be a Bangladeshi. Despite overwhelming evidences (Which India agrees) you want to support BSF which is killing unarmed people.

If you really love Bangladesh, speak up for what's wrong we have been doing across the border. Speak against cross-border terrorism and vandalism before you shed tears for the people who get hurt in perpetrating those acts.

>>>>>>>>> The sad part is drug dealers and criminals do get VIP treatment by Indian BSF. It is poor, uneducated people who are tortured and murdered.

India spent millions of dollars from the national revenue to put up a fence along the border of the West Bengal

>>>>>>>> It would have cost much less to improve our relationship. But such irresponsible spending (On border and defense) is causing all kind of pain in Indian economy. I have been to India and have been friends with many Indians and most of them think positively about Bangladesh. But the establishment (The defense industry, military, media and communal people) make issues for no reason. They have a bloody pact with Bangladesh to exchange enclaves. Around 40 years ago we have done our part, today they are still delaying to do their part.

Honorable people do not act this way. To common people of Bangladesh, Indian leaders have NO credibility. It is the people of India and Bangladesh who are doing their best to have some kind of friendly relationship. Therefore my outrage is NOT against Indian people but savage policies against Bangladesh (With water sharing, border issue and trade). This is based ON rational analysis NOT emotional.

. Why did they spend so much of their national revenue to do so? Was it done for fun? Not at all

>>>>>>>> If you judge by effectiveness of the stupid fence, it was for wasting Indian tax payers money. Since dangerous (danger to both of our countries) get royal treatment by BSF. It is open secret. Maybe your "Indian love" is blind which is causing you to dampen your ability to judge critically.

they are unable to stop illegal trespassing across the border.

>>>>>>> because if you are ready to pay a little bribe, they will escort you to India!! ;-)

Now, they have taken it to the extreme, still unable to prevent it. Are we doing anything wrong here? Have you thought about it?

>>>>>>>>>> Even in worst case scenario, they do NOT need to shoot unarmed people like animals. In last 40+ years if the mighty BSF killed ONE criminal, I would have agreed with you about defectiveness of this fence. The reality is it does not work. It does not serve any purpose for Indian common people or our people. Only increase bitterness and if you own family members die over silly issues, you could relate to it.

My two cents...

Shalom!

I was waiting for apology; now, I am totally heart-broken.

Mr. Q. Rahman should think before he talks. His logic is ridiculous. His problem is - his closed mindset, and no rational thought can come out of such mindset;

>>>>>>>>> 99.99% of BANGLADESHI people simply thinks this way. When Indian BSF murders people over trespassing (Often borders are not well defined) it is sad. Specifically if those people are unarmed. Now criminals do get all sort of logistic support from our friendly BSF. If it has to do with smuggling arms, drugs from India.

There is no doubt that those who are getting killed by the BSF must be trying to trespass the Indian border illegally for whatever reason.

>>>>>>>>> Sure. India is like Sweden and if we could just land in it, our lives will be filled with Indian milk and honey??? Right? ;-)

And, the BGB is hardly killing anybody from India is because - no one is crossing the Bangladeshi border illegally

>>>>>>>>> :-D, Now that is funny. Thanks for the laugh.

Or, BGBs are sleeping on the job, and not protecting the border.

>>>>>>>> Sure, you (Sitting in the US) know that Indians cannot make any mistake and all BGB are sleeping on their jobs? All dumb asses. This post is such a joy ride.....

But - these simple logical conclusions cannot even get through the closed minded people. I think it is because of their firm anti-Indian sentiment.

>>>>>> I have been to India and have a firm understanding of how they operate. They have many problems (Like we do here). They have some major issues with ALL of their neighbors. Just calling like I see it. You are welcome to think "Freely" as well.

I like to think of myself as "Pro-Bangladesh" and have no irrational emotion against India. If India violate norms of civilized people when dealing with our people in border area, I do not need to endorse it. If you have a problem with it, you just have to learn to respect MY opinion (Even if you disagree with it). I get along fine with Indians at personal level but my country will always be my first priority (protecting it's people). Don't expect any apology coming your way anytime soon for having this view.

Shalom!

His problem is - his closed mindset, and no rational thought can come out of such mindset; every thought is molded to support a preconceived view on the subject. This is a classic example of the closed minded individuals. You need to be a free minded individual to carry out fair and balanced discussions.

"More Indians are flocking into Bangladesh because Indian Rupees are down?" - Anybody with such opinion lacks common sense as on losing value of Indian currency, an Indian would have to spend more money to visit any place outside India including Bangladesh.

As I stated earlier, if BGB starts shooting, they will killing many more Bangladeshis than Indian smugglers. No wonder, why they don't shoot. Go and figure out the ground realities around the border areas if you care.
More Indians are flocking into Bangladesh because Indian Rupees are down? What have you been smoking, bud? Why can't BGB catch one?

Indians are not trespassing our territory but we do.

>>>>>>> Don't know which planet do you live in. Indians do tresspass time to time. Sometime by mistake and sometime intentionally. Lots of arms (Around election time), drugs, cows, fruit, sari etc enter Bangladesh (These things cannot walk themselves in). We are talking about good worth billions of dollars.

Now that Indian money worth less (Lost it's value against taka) we are witnessing more tresspassing of human and goods.

Fortunately our BGB does not have savage mentality consistently shown by Indian BSF.

I see NO good reason of defend savages.

You should be volunteering for that shooting job, bro. If you shoot moving objects at night with your night vision goggles on, you will realize at the dawn that you have mainly killed our Bangladeshi brothers and sisters. Indians are not trespassing our territory but we do. You know very well why is that.
