Gentlemen and Ladies,
Following my recent blog (Flagrant Violation of Human Rights) in the mukto-mona with the attached video link showing the barbaric torture of a migrant worker by a Saudi man, I sent the link to some of the British MPs including our local MP, who happens to be the Chairman of the influential 1922 Committee. I received a reply from him today stating that he has written to the Foreign and Commonwealth Office with his concern on the violation of human rights in the Middle East. He may even raise it in the British Parliament.
The CNN had shown the video clip in America and it has caused a stir and even the Saudi government had been rattled. Taj Hashimi had sent an email to Gowher Rizvi of Bangladesh and Gowher Rizvi said that he is going to look into it. If you raise the issue with your local MP or Congressman or any other elected representative and ask him or her to take action against such endemic barbaric behaviour, then we may achieve the desired outcome.
