Shahadat bhai, I also agree with your analysis (in terms of qualifications and disqualifications of parties). But there should be changes in modes of movements by BNP central leadership. If the people in the areas other than Dhaka can do something through their sacrifices, why these leaders in Dhaka does nothing! Not a single procession in any location of Dhaka by BNP after such a Great Call from the Supreme Leader, Khaleda Zia. Then, what the brute regime can do them, what is the future, what's the value of all deaths/sacrifices of the people all over!
I/we have seen what Khaleda Zia did in 1980s, now she cannot! These "heavy-weight" leadership should be gone. Changes in strategy is a must! Or, they need to call a TENDER to wage a movement (which can be taken by Awami hooligans)! Otherwise, all of them have to sign "Muchleka" (bond) to be free(?), lest the freedom of the country!

Your comment on yellow journalism is OK, but it should also be Great SHAME on the easy-going BNP leaders. They like "comfortable jailing" more than movement. None of them was arrested from the meeting or procession. They are good in "hiding" with compliance of restrictions! They are asking people of the districts/rural areas to come to Dhaka to rescue them!
Where are their leaders, workers, supporters of Dhaka city of 15 million? If the movement worked in 1980s, if it does not work now, they should change the mode.
Where are Aman-Kaman, Anny-Ranni of BNP (all are now "Fulley-Tetala). People of Bangladesh has a bad "Nasib" that they have been making sacrifices for these "Full-Babu" leaders!
Khaleda Zia should make herself "Osthayee" (Acting) Chair too! If she could have inspired people in 1980s, why can she not do that now? At that time she came down to the street facing all barricades!
Are they now waiting for a MUA, or Amrica? That will not happen any more. Amrica/Urupa/India did that election of 2008 by plan. They are all birds of the same feather, till now.
BNP/Khaleda look like betraying the sacrifices and support of the people of Bangladesh through their apparent inactivity and ineffective activities.
