​ধন্যবাদ, আনিস সাহেব ও বৈরাগীদা  আপনাদের সুন্দর মন্তব্য-এর জন্যে। আপনাদের সাথে আমি একমত। আমি কেবল সমস্যা তুলে ধরতে পারি, সমাধান আমার হাতে নেই। আমেরিকায় সাদারা এগিয়ে এসছিল বলেই কালোদের সমস্যা সমাধান হয়েছে, এবং এমনকি আমরা এসে শান্তিতে বাস করতে পারছি। একই দৃষ্টিভঙ্গি আমাদের দেশের মানুষের হলেই সমস্যা থাকবেনা।

An excellent article and I read it twice. Thank you, Mr Sitangshu Guha. Although I am a Muslim, I had been saying the same thing for years - why in a secular country like Bangladesh, one religion should enjoy the state patronage and other religions would persistently suffer national hatred and mob violence? It should put all Muslims to shame. We demand all religions be accorded equal rights and it is the responsibility of the state to enforce such rights.

I wrote an article recently stating clearly that Abdul Latif Siddique has the right to raise the question of Hajj, its utility and its economic consequences under the right of 'freedom of speech'. If he has done anything wrong, the court of law would judge him, not the chorus of the mob or the slogans of the mullahs. If he is so corrupt and his corruption dates back to the previous government (run by the same prime minister), why his corruption had not been brought to the fore at that time or before this event? Was he kept in the present government as a senior minister totally shackled that he must submit unconditionally to the leader or else he would be exposed? How many ministers, politicians, bureaucrats are there in the government in such situations? (I guess most of them). The whole thing smells rotten, disgusting.
