How can we forget the caretaker govt. of Latifur Rahman ? We feel ashame to call it a neutral caretaker govt. It was truly a replica of BNP govt. imposed by Latifur Rahman . Most of his advisors were preselected by a vested quarters who were in a mission to re-instate BNP to the power . Just after oath , the caretaker govt. of Latifur Rahman reorganised administration with ProBNP officials .(Later he said that he did 'Home Work' to do it)! BNP got all the benefits by the caretaker govt. , whereas Awami League was denied in every respect . In fact , during that period BNP was in power and Awami League was in the opposition . According to BNP's demand Army was put all over the country to conduct the election and we have seen how Awami League cadres and minorities were denied by the BNP supporters with the help of Army to cast vote . Moreover , crores of fake voters were in the list . No wonder BNP made a landslide victory in that controversial election !
Now , BNP is hungry to go to the power by any means . They are in a relentless mission to have another 'Latifur Rahman' type caretaker govt. ! But those days are gone . Peoples are very conscious now . Army and voter list are very 'CLEAN' now .
