You, the BNP people, don't think that through this propaganda you can erase from people's mind what happened in election during BNP-Jamayat rule. Hasina administration know it very well how to manipulate election. EC conducted the latest election without the presense ofopposition agents even EC staffs and Police actively cooperated with the rigging in favor of pro-Hasina candidates. Hasina decidesthe result of all election held under her rule. It's not the voters who decides rather Hasina is the decider. EC officials and Gopali PoliceForce work as party cadres of the ruling party. No international organization accepted the latest Mayoral eleaction as freee and fair.Why playing with peoples vote rather appoint all Mayors ?

- Unlike the 'voter list' of ghosts compiled by the BNP/Jamaat Govt. in 2006, there is a brand new (beginning from 2008 under the then Caretaker Govt) computerized voter ID list compiled with the technical assistance of the United Nations. Every citizen of Bangladesh has complete trust on this ID card and therefore it is not possible to whimsically 'unlist' some one from voting rights any more.
- Elections are conducted by the staff of the Election Commission who are incrementally getting experienced in following the SET international guidelines of the procedures.

মঙ্গলবার (১২/০৫/২০১৫) দুপুরে স্বামী সালাহউদ্দিনের সঙ্গে ফোনালাপ শেষে বিএনপি চেয়ারপার্সন খালেদার গুলশানের বাসায় যান সালাহউদ্দিনের স্ত্রী হাসিনা আহমেদ। এ সময় হাসিনা আহমেদকে দেখেই উত্তেজিত হয়ে যান খালেদার বিশেষ সহকারী এ্যাডভোকেট শামসুর রহমান শিমুল বিশ্বাস!
খালেদার বিশেষ সহকারী শিমুল বিশ্বাস হাসিনা আহমেদকে দেখেই ক্ষুব্ধ কণ্ঠে বলেন,
'আপনার স্বামী ভারতে পালিয়ে গেছে আপনি তা জেনেও আমাদের জানাননি কেন?'
এর জবাবে, ক্ষিপ্ত হয়ে বিএনপি নেতা সালাহউদ্দিনের স্ত্রী হাসিনা বলেন,
'সালাহউদ্দিনকে ভারত পাঠিয়েছেন আপনারা। তাই আপনারাই সব জানেন, আমি জানি না।'
অবশেষে খালেদার হস্তক্ষেপে এই উত্তপ্ত বাকযুদ্ধের অবসান হয়।
তবে এই হটটকের বিষয়টি খালেদার বাসা ও হাসিনা আহমেদের পক্ষ থেকে গোপন রাখার চেষ্টা করা হয়।
অনুমান করা হচ্ছে, সিলেট অঞ্চল দিয়ে সীমান্ত পাড়ি দিয়ে ভারত হয়ে নেপালে পালিয়ে যেতে চেয়েছিলেন বিএনপির যুগ্ম মহাসচিব সালাহউদ্দিন আহমেদ। কিন্তু নেপালে ভূমিকম্প হওয়ায় আর নেপাল যাওয়া হয়নি তার
