Why do people support the tribunal despite criticisms?

Is Jamaat a member of the Opposition Alliance of the present Govt. of Bangladesh? NO. But David Bergman writes that it is. Therefore, according to him, the trial of the War Crimes of 1971 is only a "political vengeance". His reporting completely obliterates from view how we, the citizens' activists, relentlessly carried on our demand for a trial of the 1971 War Crimes for all those years.
