There were intentional outcries from anti-liberation group for absence of Gen. Osmany at the surrender ceremony of December 16 . As chief of allied forces , Gen. Arora signed the treaty along with defeated Pakistan force chief Gen. Niazi . At the end of world war two , we have noticed the similar scenario on May 7 , 1945 when German Nazi force surrendered to the allied forces in France . But France army chief didn't sign the treaty . The treaty was signed by the supreme allied forces commander Gen. Dwight Eisenhore of USA , even any member of the mighty Soviet Union armed forces were not present . Later signed documents were send to British , France , Soviets and Italian authorities . There were no criticism from any parties there . We should learn from the history .
