Prof. Majid would be misunderstood if the reader does not take note of the subject of the message chosen by her. The reader should also read about the author himself (given under the article) to know about the motive of his thesis. We have seen during the Pakistan period how the rulers used to use the India card to divert public attention from the real problems and also to antagonize the Bengalis against India. It is not that we do not see this foul play even today in free Bangladesh. Asif Haroon Raja and his like are doing exactly the same thing in Pakistan. I hope Pakistanis will realize it and dump the anti-Indian mentality.
