[mukto-mona] Re: {PFC-Friends} Re: Ahmed Mohamed's clock?

The problem is that the kid did not innovate anything except creating a suspicious clock. If this is an innovation, our congenital trolls should help this Sudanese family to file a provisional patent on that innovation and enrich the community and state of Sudan. I bet none of these trolls would ever buy such clocks, let alone go near to such devices. And for the very obvious reason Dr. Obama did not want to see or inspect this valuable innovation in his residence. Had anybody taken such clock next to White House lawn, he/she would have been shot with no question asked.  It is odd that the kid was called a bomb maker in the past and yet, he went for such great innovation? Pretty silly arguments from our well known die-hard Islamists, who love and thrive on western secularism and yet, call Dawkins, Darwin and Christopher Hitchens as apostates and equate them with rotten religious fundamentalists.

Unfortunately they take their lead from Dawkins, a well known secular fundamentalist who is no different from religious fundamentalists.  It appears that even a man of his stature needs to minimize the accomplishments of a child just because he is a Muslim.  The boy never claimed to invent the clock, he innovated with ordinary household items to make one.  Most inventions come from such innovations where bright people apply their skills to develop new things.  It appears that Dr. Dawkins doesn't know the difference between invention and innovation and his so called "objective" mind is so clouded by his Islamophobia that he stoops to picking on a child and some members of the group follow him like sheep.  Oh wait!  Isn't that what secular fundamentalists call believers?😉

I am really very embarrassed and disappointed to read the mails by so called Bangladeshi Progressives. They descend so low as to abuse even a child if he is a Muslim. We have to learn to ignore them. They write just to hurt people and destroy peace. I know that I would be very happy if any child, Muslim or of other faiths does something extraordinary. The child deserves to be highly praised. God bless you Ahmed. Go son go and hopefully you achieve heaps.

I believe, US President, his Executive Office and the White House are not fools to invite a 14 years old kid Ahmed Mohammed and they know very well whom to invite. They will never ask (or seek) for your advice.
Are you superior or above than the US President or his office? If so, go and advice them.
Everybody knows, you and cohorts can never reach at the doorstep of your local mayor's mansion by invitation.

The point was that the kid did not create any new clock as analyzed by the experts (see the link in my first post). Not sure why Obama thought it was a cool clock? The kid was not even allowed to take it to the White house to show to Mr. President. Isn't that a snub? Cool clock still? Then this troll was totally wrong about kid's birth place. Nothing is wrong about being born in Sudan but the facts need to corrected for people to get an objective idea about the case. Not sure why would he made such redundant clock and boast about his creation? Was he on the same page with the other smart kids in science? I do not think so. Being Muslim is not an issue either. As Dawkins said, he fooled everybody.

SD and his cohort Khoniker Othithee (KO) feel jealous because of the Kid was honorably invited by the US President at a high profile event at the White House with nationally and internationally acclaimed scientists. SD and his friends will find any reason to humiliate Muslim and that's their ulterior motives. For the record, SD made a derogatory comment against a young Muslim school girl in youtube before.
These Muslim haters (SD and KO) with rotten brains, stinky hearts and hateful motives know very well that they can never reach doorstep of any mansion of their local mayor by invitation. Instead of encouraging Muslim Kid for his good deed, SD and KO discourage by pretending themselves as superiors than the US President, astronauts, scientists, FB and Google chiefs, elected officials, notable dignitaries, etc.

The kid is not US born but rather a Sudan born subject moved to the US in 2009 with most likely a DV visa. He and his self-appointed Imam father moving on to Qatar to improve Qatari Science and Education. Ironically, US is not big enough or good enough for this 'whizkid'?

Today's ninth graders are far more different than their peers of previous generations. They are far more tech savvy by the virtue of their education and information age. A kid should be encouraged for his/her desire to create new things but people should be firmly attached to ground. In third world countries, we were allowed to reinvent the wheels but this is US and kids are creating great unique gizmos and devices as we speak. The news was that this was a Muslim kid, who created something great but whites did not appreciate his work? Ahmed's father is self an appointed radical imam and he did not know... how a post 9/11 society would react to Ahmed's invention? Give me a break! Using Muslim card in every issue will isolate Muslims more in this society as it has done for the blacks. I do not think the kid deserves an automatic place in Ivy league institutions. That would be considered an affirmative action. This kid has to work harder to deserve that honor like many of his peers.

His was a project for 14 years old school student. In this age of atomic clock, no design of clock that doesn't have precision comparable to atomic clock is considered an invention; Iwatch from Apple will not be considered invention. It was design project for making money.

When I was 13 years old I put together a dynamo simply following a rschematic I found in popular mechanics magazine. When my teacher saw it , he appreciated and told me that I will achieve in future to motivate me. But as the luck would have it, it was all down hill soon after that.

His work is much more than my Dynamo, so I will give a slack. In this instance a design of this sophistication from a 14 yrs old can be considered an invention in a very loosely way.
