It was not a journalistic report in the so-called REPUTED ECONOMIST magazine -- it was a mention of a hearsay of 'bags and bags of money from India' in the 2008 election. That silly, malicious gossip has never had any basis. The article was generated by a 'reputed' Zindabadwallah. We complained to the Economist about such shameful violation of journalistic principles, and the mag stopped putting out any more writing on Bangladesh from that bastard.
In contrast, charges of supply of ISI money to BNP for Bangladeshi election have been brought up in a legal procedure by Pakistan's respected Air Vice Marshall Asghar Khan at the Supreme Court of Pakistan. I remember reading the news report of the Court hearing on this issue in 2010 in Pakistan.
