The allegations are of selling out national interest for personal benefits.   But, instead of independent enquiry into the allegations of the govt's own departments, this banal, brutal and barbaric govt lodged more than two dozen court cases against Mahmudur Rahman, imprisoned him and tortured him for reporting it.
