Brave Bangladesh!
Abid Bahar
------------ ----
We love our cup of tea
We will have our Bangladesh dream swear on thee!
But divided we fall
Brave Bangladeshis all
!A declaration, a Bangladesh Doctrine for all people
We hold these truths to be self-evident and applicable.
On God and on the People's Assambly we place reliance
We will remove the enemy as advisors and crocodiles in our ports and bid with
defiance.

Snakes and Ladders in Bangladesh politics;
democracy is the ladder in essence
Fascism is the biggest snake, with the Chatro League,
 i'ts all in common sense.
Indian hegemony is the dangerous snake we know in Nehru's mens
Don't tell me nonsense
but we can make it with patriotism and our conscience
.Enemies wouldn't dare Bangladesh to end
Only it will, if Moin U wins more horses and friends
This is our land
Better know we are not frightened.
Bangladeshis, join hand in hand
United we stand.

Sons of freedom
let's establish democracy against fascism.
Brave Bangladesh
The banners of virtue of our land shall walk with us
Mir Jaffor will go down to history and hush
Our heroes lead on, and the foe fly before us.

The gloomy nights before us flies
with cowards, Jaffors and spies
Great men will rule the land
With Bangladesh patriots hand in hand!
(Abid Bahar, playwright and public speaker, teaches in Canada)
