বাংলাদেশে এখন কিছুসংখ্যক মুর্খ, অর্ধ শিক্ষিত্ত, নিম্ন সন্ক্স্কৃতি সম্পন্ন গ্রাম্য বর্বর ও মতলববাজ লোক দেশ শাসন করছে. এটা বাংলাদেশের জনগনের জন্য এক মহাদুর্ভাগ্য. যে দেশে চুরি-দুর্নীতি, সন্ত্রাস সহ সব রকম হত্যাকান্ড পর্যন্ত কিছুরই বিচার ও শাস্তি হয়না, সে দেশের মত হতভাগা দেশ দেশ আর কথায় আছে? নিকৃষ্টতম চরিত্রসম্পন্ন এ দেশের শাসক শ্রেনীর অপরিউক্ত চরিত্রের কারণে এদের লজ্জা সরম বলতে কিছু নেই. চরম মিথ্যা, যা প্রকাশ্য সত্যের ঠিক উল্টো তা বলতে এদের কোনো অসবিধা হয়না. যেমন ২১ মার্চ প্রধানমন্ত্রী হাসিনা ওয়াজেদ বরিশালের জনসভায় বলেছেন, বর্তমানে তাঁদের ক্ষমতায় থাকাকালে জিস্পত্রের দাম সবচেয়ে কম. অথচ তিনি জানেন, তাঁর শ্রোতারা জানেন, তার চামচারা জানেল কথাটি কত বড় মিথ্যা. এর জন্য তিনি কোনো লজ্জ্য়া বোধ করার কারণ দেখেন না. বরঞ্চ ডাইনির মত মিটিমিটি করে জনতার দিকে তাকান দেখেন ওরা তাঁর মিথ্যা বুঝতে পারছেন কিনা? জনতাও মিটি হেসে চুপ করে বসে আছেন আর বলছেন, আমরাতো মুখ খুলে জবাব দিতে পরছিনা তবে জবাব ঠিকই দেব.

The High Court on Tuesday summoned deputy attorney general A B M Altaf Hossain and asked him why the respondents had not complied with the rule.
Altaf replied, "I have been told that the office of the IGP has not received written copy of the court order."
The High Court then asked the authorities to submit a probe progress report in the court by Thursday (Mar 22).
In its Feb 28 rule, the High Court had also directed police not to reveal anything to media regarding the murder investigation if there wasn't any substantial progress.
The rule also directed the information secretary to take action against publication of 'fabricated' news regarding the killing.
