Re: [mukto-mona] Re: PM’s advisers are ‘India’s men’!(PM herself is India's woman)

Lt. General H. M. Ershad was born in Quchbehar, India.  Thus being a 'Quchbehari', he has survived.  Had he been a  'Behari' instead, he would probably have lived in the 'Geneva Camp' today, or fight for his survival in Karachi under the banner of MQM.

Mr  Anwar

We are fed-up of hearing these unfounded labeling of the leader's of Bangladesh . Didn't your predecessors once identified  the founding Prime Minister Tajuddin Ahmed as India's man which has historically been proved wrong . Tajuddin was out and out a patriotic person. We need to understand a person when we distance ourselves objectively.

To call Sheikh Hasina , India's person or for that matter , that she is pro-Indian is a similar fallacy and indeed an amount of idiocy . Until this day , Sheikh Hasina has been protecting the interest of Bangladesh against India in a far more diplomatic way than you or some of your friends can hardly comprehend. It is her subtle diplomacy that she does not speak against India or Pakistan  to gain cheap popularity but in a much diplomatic way she fights for the interests of Bangladesh . I wish Mr Anwar and others could realize this.

My Comment: Why just calling PM's advisers as India's men, PM herself is also India's woman.
PM's trusted allies like Rashed Khan Menon anf Ho Mo Ershad already commented about this.
My comment is P.M. Hasina  herself is India's woman.

PM's advisers are 'India's men'!

THIS pointed remark was stated by the Jatiya Party chairman in a public meeting, according to reports published in most national dailies on March 6. If this is the opinion of the head of the Awami League's main ally, who can blame the Bangladesh Nationalist Party for shouting about it endlessly at every opportunity. It may be a fatal wound to the Awami League's chances at the next general elections and all other parties will try to capitalise on it.
The JP leader was also critical about the miserable failure of the government to secure fair and justified share of the water of the rivers Teesta and the Feni. All these adverse reports by its closest ally indicate a bleak future for the Awami League.
Over and above, the present government has miserably failed to contain the inhuman and savage treatment of Bangladeshi civilians accused of crossing the border illegally. Killing and beating them near death have become the standard practice of the Indian Border Security Force while the Bangladesh government 'sees no evil, hears no evil and does no evil.' In fact, it does nothing but swallow the bitter pill, which seems to be the order of the day for the party in power.
