Police state like East Germany or North Korea? No, I do not think so. There is a law and order problem since the day first of independence. If somebody is disappeared or murdered, we can't just blame our government for all our crimes. How can a state control 160 mil people with only few lakhs of police force? Unless, we create a police state!!! That would mean one in five Bangladeshis should be part of Bangladeshi secret police force. That idea is pretty absurd by any criteria.
