Re: [mukto-mona] An article on Ramu Communal Violence

It is quite clear what Farhad Mazher is telling. He is saying that Bangladesh is again heading towards the pre-independence era of 60s. Strong polarization is in the air again. While it was easy to predict the winner in the 60s, it's now unpredictable.

Rohingas issue complicates the situation in Bangladesh much more than people tend to admit. Rohingas are big asset of anti-Bangladeshi Islamists. The politics of the ruling party also complicates the situation for Awami League. It's difficult to understand why Awami League will keep politics with religion alive in Bangladesh, which is totally anti-Bangladeshi ideology. This is another suicidal attempt of Awami League, which happened due to the ideological confusion in the ruling party leadership.
