"....Following the widespread publicity of the attack on Malala, who was shot by the Taliban for advocating female education, several people in the British Pakistani community are reportedly raising money in her name to "promote education", reports The News....The horrific attack on Pakistani teenager Malala Yousufzai by the Taliban is being seen as another money-making venture by certain sections of the society." How raising money for women's education becomes a condemnable offense, especially for regions, controlled by fanatical Islamists, where women have been increasingly under pressure to stay home? Unless it is a fraudulent operation, we should appreciate it. Since I don't know if it is fraudulent, I say - God bless those who have taken the initiative. I see some discontent among some people with the publicity and attention Malala is receiving from the international community. Anyone understands why?
