Re: [mukto-mona] Malala becomes latest money-making tool amongst Pak-origin community in UK

Most Charity organizations have high over-heads; even Red-Cross Administrators draw high salaries. The small amount that goes to the victims should justify the donation initiatives.

We have seen in the past some Bangladeshi Americans raising money for natural calamity affected people in Bangladesh. I have heard that small portions of those funds only went to the real victims. Sadhu Sabdhan.

How raising money for women's education becomes a condemnable offense, especially for regions, controlled by fanatical Islamists, where women have been increasingly under pressure to stay home? Unless it is a fraudulent operation, we should appreciate it. Since I don't know if it is fraudulent, I say - God bless those who have taken the initiative.

I see some discontent among some people with the publicity and attention Malala is receiving from the international community. Anyone understands why?
