I wrote to an unknown person from an "Islamic jalsa". I will send you in a different email how agitated these US based Bangladeshi Islamists are regarding youth movement in Shahbagh....

Dear Mr. Hossain:

I had a chance to peruse your comment to a die-hard fanatic. I am pretty sure, that guy with the medicalstar email is living in this infidel land. This sort of people can enjoy all the milk and honey of a land of non-believers and infidels. But they do not have any problem daydreaming converting such land into socalled Islamic utopia.

It is very unfortunate the adherents of Jamaat are yet to understand that rape, pillage, killing of innocent human beings do not enhance or promote Islam. Rather, they are simply ruining the image of Islam to the greater mankind. Abdul Quader Mollah beyond reasonable doubt was a butcher, who killed people like a KOSHAI. One of the victims was a Ittefaq reporter, who was murdered in Mirpur on March 29, 1971. Unfortunately, the Jamaati blind supporters in USA and in Bangladesh will never admit their killer leaders were wrong. Thus they are simply reinforcing the idea of the Westerners "Muslims can not be trusted".

Thanking you,

Jamal Hasan

Assalamu Alaikum,

I don't think war criminals can be considered as "Wali". The definition of "Wali" from the Ayah clearly states free from sin and evil deeds. War criminals not only supported Pakistan also did evil deeds like killing, rape and others. Many people at that time only supported Pakistan which is normal because they did not believe Bangladesh could be a separate country and they have the every right to think that. But many of them not only supported Pakistan did evil act like killing Bangladeshi and that can not be accepted. They are the ones who are considered war criminal and should be punished. Even if they pray five times a day because of their evil act they can not be considered as "Wali".
