In the past our deshi atheists (my father among them) were more anxious to prove that one could lead a perfectly moral and socially responsible life without believing in God or following religious rituals. Other than mildly rebelling against their strictly musolli fathers, they were not anti-Islamic per se. I really hate these new atheists and their boorish, uncivilized, culturally imbecile assault on Islam. By all definitions they are, as Glenn Greenwald has shown, the worst kind of racists. They create a fount of racial hatred which supplies nourishment to the Islamists and Jehadists whose violent actions further victimize more Muslims.
