Yes - I definitely agree, but to the extent that students will be taught their respective religions only - Hindu, Buddhist, Christian, and others must not be forced to learn Islam.
When I was a high school student (in 1960), we had Religious Teachers at school to teach religions. It is my understanding that schools in Bangladesh still following that practice. Even if I promote secularism, but I am a practicing Muslim and definitely not against other religions. To me, each and every religion in the world is good. I have never heard any religion advising its followers to do anything bad to the society. It is really the people that are manipulating the good religions for their ill motives.
I invite all of you to please leave extremism and promote the moderation. Please let us jointly save our beloved Bangladesh from the current crisis.

মসজিদের মাইকে সুমধুর আজানের ধ্বনি ধর্মপ্রাণ মানুষের মনকে করে আন্দোলিত , আজানের বাণী মানুষকে টেনে নিয়ে যায় মসজিদে নামাজ পড়তে , মাইকে জুম্মার খুতবা ধর্মীয় আলোকে আলোকিত করে সবাইকে ৷ সারা বিশ্বে মসজিদের মাইক সত্য প্রচার করে মানুষকে সত্যের পথে নিয়ে আসছে সেই যুগ যুগ ধরে ! পবিত্র মসজিদের মাইকে মিথ্যা -অপপ্রচার চিন্তাই করা যায় না মুসলিম বিশ্বে ! কিন্তু সব অঘটনের দেশ , বাংলাদেশে পবিত্র মসজিদের মাইকে জলজ্যন্ত মিথ্যা-অপপ্রচার করে ধর্মপ্রাণ মানুষদের বিভ্রান্ত করে তাই করা হয়েছে ! আস্তাগফিরুল্লাহ , এই লজ্জা রাখবো কোথায় ? চাঁদে নাকি রাজাকার সাইদী কে দেখা গেছে , এই মিথ্যা-আজগুবি খবর দিয়ে পবিত্র মসজিদের মাইকে অপপ্রচার শুরু করে ইসলাম ধর্মের শত্রু মহলটি ! তার পরের ইতিহাস তো সবার ই জানা , চারিদিকে সরকারী-বেসরকারী সম্পত্তি জালাও-পোড়াও , পুলিশ সহ নিরীহ মানুষ হত্যা করেছে চিন্নিত মহলটি ধর্মীয় উন্মাদনা ছড়িয়ে ! বগুড়ার সেই কালো অধ্যায়ের পর রাজশাহীর চাপাই নবাবগঞ্জে একই কায়দায় তান্ডব চালানো হয়েছে ! সর্ব শেষ মসজিদের মাইকে মিথ্যা কথা বলে লোমহর্ষক ঘটনা ঘটানো হয়েছে রাজাকার সাকা চৌধুরীর এলাকা ফটিক্চরিতে ৷ ইসলামের শত্রু জামাত-হেফাজতের কর্মীরা মাইক ব্যবহার করে যেই জঘন্য পাপ করেছে তা শয়তান "ইবলিসকে ও " হার মানিয়ে দিয়েছে ! তাই সরকারকে কাল বিলম্ব না করে এখনি "মাইক অপরাধীদের" বিরুদ্ধে কঠোর ব্যবস্থা নেওয়ার আহবান জানাচ্ছি , দোষীদের মসজিদ কমিটি থেকে বাদ দিয়ে সত্যিকারের ধার্মিকদের মসজিদ পরিচালনা পরিষদে নিয়োগ দেওয়ার দাবি জানাচ্ছি ৷ আর অভিযুক্ত কওমী মাদ্রাসা গুলিতে শুদ্ধি অভিযান চালিয়ে সন্ত্রাশিমুক্ত করার ও আহবান জানাচ্ছি , দেশে এত মাদ্রাসার দরকার নেই , তাই মাদ্রাসার সংখা কমিয়ে এনে "বেকার কাঠ মোল্লা " র বদলে সত্যিকারের ধার্মিক মাওলানা তৈরী করার ও উপদেশ দিচ্ছি ৷ আমাদের মনে রাখা উচিত যে বেকারত্তই সন্ত্রাসী তৈরিতে উত্সাহিত করে !
সব শেষে সবাইকে পবিত্র মসজিদকে পাক-পবিত্র রাখার জন্য আহবান জানাচ্ছি , ইসলামের শত্রু জামাত- হেফাজত কে "বিতারিত শয়তানের মত " মসজিদ থেকে বিতারিত করুন ৷
