Re: [mukto-mona] Re: BTRC must stop their harassment of independent bloggers!

As usual, when you find out yourself wrong, you hit back, a civil servant is not 'honorable'.  We follow British system almost everywhere, and learn it from them, you incorrigible fool!

FACT is one member said something that is incorrect. I simply offered CORRECT information.

End of story.

>>>>>>>>>>> Again it seems member Fatemah is sharing incorrect information. Our BTRC is not run by clerks. Rather it is lead by ex-secretary honorable Sunil Kanti Bose (An appointee of the current government). Let me share a little more....

sunil kanti
Mr. Sunil Kanti Bose, Ex Secretary, Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications has joined Bangladesh Telecommunication Regulatory Commission (BTRC) on 23 October 2012 as the 5th Chairman for next three years tenure.
The post of the BTRC Chairman fell vacant after the sudden death of Major General Zia Ahmed, psc (Retd.) on September 10, 2012.
Mr. Sunil Kanti Bose has been made BTRC Chairman as per section 7(1) of Bangladesh Telecommunication Act, 2001 upon his appointment as a commissioner of the telecom regulator on contract, as per section 9(1) of the act after his retirement from the Government/Cadre service.
He comes across a long Bureaucratic service career. He joined Bangladesh Civil Service in the year of 1979. He completed his Honors & Masters in Zoology from University of Dhaka and obtained his 2nd Masters Degree in Forestry from Peshawar University of Pakistan and 3rd Masters Degree in Social Community Development and Forestry from University of Losbenous, Philipines.
Before joining BTRC he held the office of Chairman of Bangladesh Inland Water Transport Authority (BIWTA) and Bangladesh Road Transport Authority (BRTA) and as Director of Bangladesh National Scientific and Technical Documentation Centre (BNSDOC). Being the Secretary of MoPT he also served as ex-officio Chairman of Glossary Link BTCL, BSCCL, TSS, Cable Silpo Sangstha and Teletalk.

One more time, I would request members to learn about a topic BEFORE you form an opinion. Ignorant opinions tend to MISLEAD people. Let us try to stay away from such awful habit.
