বস্তুত মুহাম্মদ ইবনে আবদুল ওয়াহাবের ভ্রান্ত ধ্যানধারণা, মুহাম্মদ ইবনে
সৌদের উচ্চাকাঙক্ষা যার নামে আজকের সৌদি আরব ও ওসমানীয় খিলাফত ভেঙে আরব
বিশ্ব গঠন। একে কবজায় নেওয়ার ব্রিটিশ কূটচাল থেকেই 'ওয়াহাবী' মতবাদের
সৃষ্টি। আর তখন থেকেই এ 'তৌহিদী জনতা'র আমদানি।
কারণ তাদের মতে, বিশ্বের মুসলমানরা মুহাম্মদ ইবনে আবদুল ওয়াহাবের জন্মের
আগে আল্লাহ্র একত্ববাদ থেকে সরে গিয়েছিল। মুহাম্মদ ইবনে আবদুল ওয়াহাব
যাবতীয় ইসলামি স্থাপনা ভেঙে, জান্নাতুল বাকীর উপর বুলডোজার চালিয়ে, পদে
পদে রাসুলে আকরাম (দঃ)-এর অবমাননা করে আল্লাহ্র তাওহিদ তথা একত্ববাদ
প্রতিষ্ঠা করলেন! তখন থেকে তার অনুসারীরা হল 'তৌহিদী জনতা' আর তামাম
দুনিয়ার মুসলমানরা হল 'মুশরিক'। (নাউজুবিল্লাহ)
তার এ মতবাদ প্রচারে ব্রিটিশ গোয়েন্দা মি. হ্যাম্পার গুরুত্বপূর্ণ
নিয়ামক হিসেবে কাজ করেন বলে জানা যায়। মি. হ্যাম্পারের ডায়েরি পড়লে
ওয়াহাবী মতবাদের থলের বেড়াল বের হয়ে আসে।
এরা বিভিন্ন দেশে বিভিন্ন সময়ে কখনও ওয়াহাবী, কখনও মুহাম্মদী, কখনও
সালাফী, কখনও আহলে হাদিস, কখনও তালেবান, কখনও আল কায়েদা, কখনও হরকাতুল
জিহাদ, অধুনা হেফাজতে ইসলাম নামে নিজেদের কার্যক্রম চালিয়ে যাচ্ছে।
সম্প্রতি আল কায়েদা স্বীকার করেছে সিরিয়ার বিদ্রোহী গোষ্ঠীটিও তাদের
অঙ্গসংগঠন। সৃষ্টিলগ্ন থেকেই প্রতিপক্ষকে হত্যা ও ধ্বংসাত্নক রাজনীতি
এদের রক্তে মিশে আছে। এদের হত্যার রাজনীতির তথ্য পাবেন নেটে।
অধুনা নাসির উদ্দীন আলবানীর হাতে ইবনে আবদুল ওয়াহাবের ওয়াহাবী মতবাদ
চাঁচাছোলা হয়ে আরও কট্টর হয়ে সালাফী হয়েছে। ইতিহাসের নির্মম পরিহাস এ
যে, যে দেওবন্দীরা এ উপমহাদেশে ওয়াহাবী মতবাদ প্রতিষ্ঠা করেছে, সে
দেওবন্দী-তাবলিগীদের বিরুদ্ধেই এখন সৌদি আরব থেকে কুফরি-শিরকের ফতোয়া
দেওয়া হচ্ছে।
তবে এ কথা অস্বীকার করার জো নেই যে, সনাতন আধ্যাত্নিক ও মূল ইসলামের ধারক
সুন্নী জনগোষ্ঠীর নির্লিপ্ততাও এদের উত্তরণে নিয়ামক ভূমিকা রেখেছে।
