Gandhi as per MJ Akbar, "If you were born a Hindu, he preached, be a good Hindu; if born a Muslim, be a good Muslim: for if you were true to your faith you would be a good Indian."
There are two problems here.
1. So, people's brains are to be enslaved by in what community they were born! No escape from there! Why can't a person born in a Muslim family be a good Hindu, and vice versa?
2. Of course, the million dollar question is, what makes one a good Hindu or a good Muslim? Is it about being a good human being or about being true to one's faith?
Weren't the widow-burning Hindu barbarians following Hindu rituals of their time? Aren't the castist Hindu idiots following what Krishna created? (Based on virtue and profession, my foot - even Gandhi did not declare B. R. Ammedkar a Brahmin! Even today, nobody calls Modi a Ksatriya/Brahmin!) What would Gandhi/Akbar call the Hindu barbarians/idiots? Bad Hindus or bad human beings?
For now, let me skip talking about what Good Muslims have been doing all over the world.
