Shazzad khan seems to have echoed the suppressed feeling of many people. I commented in my FB, when someone expressed condolences for the death of a son of the ex-prime minister, that where are the condolences for the scores sons of innocent mothers who were burned, maimed, killed and murdered by the actions of these political leaders?

Koko's Death and Our Reaction:
I was attending a class lecture yesterday afternoon (24th Jan) when someone shouted out that Koko was dead. We all heard it, but surprisingly I found no one in the class expressed any stirring note – all seemed to be quite normal, even the lady teacher herself! At one point someone commented, "What an irony for Khaleda Zia, now she has to behold her own son's dead face! Could she now realise the heartbreaking pains of the mothers who have lost their children brutally killed by political arsonists!"
Instantly I discovered that the feeling is all the same in most around us, including me. I then tried to analyse the feeling within me and discovered that we have all become so fed-up with the utterly exploitative nature of the politicians that we the common people have lost all our emotion for them. I can still remember when one of the MP's of Dhaka lost his only son a couple of years ago in a reckless accident, I felt nothing for such untimely death of young boy. The reason was very simple: like his MP father the son also turned reckless and damn-caring to people.
What an irony: the MP's that we vote for turn reckless, damn-caring, aggressive and exploitative towards the common people after the election is over and they assume power. They become so authoritative that they don't even falter for a second to use common people as their vehicles to go to power. In such case they don't feel even an iota of sin or offence to burn people alive for their sake of floating blame-game to each other and take advantage out of it.
This is what is happening now. Every day the operators of the politicians are murdering innocent people by arson attacks and two belligerent parties are blaming each other to take advantage in their respective courts. On our part as common people we just look on and get ourselves to death or being maimed. We the common people very normally realise the cause of our wretchedness of all regards and that's why we have developed strong nonchalance, even deep hatred, towards the politicians, and consequently we feel nothing even when so-called renowned politicians or their children die or suffer any pain.
I don't know whether this feeling of mine can knock the conscience of the politicians at least for once.
