মোদির সাক্ষাত পাচ্ছেন না খালেদা

স্টাফ রিপোর্টার ॥ ভারতের প্রধানমন্ত্রী নরেন্দ্র মোদির সঙ্গে সাক্ষাতের সুযোগ পাচ্ছেন না বিএনপি চেয়ারপার্সন খালেদা জিয়া। ইতোমধ্যেই ভারতীয় বিভিন্ন সূত্র বিএনপিকে এ বিষয়টি জানিয়ে দিয়েছে। তবে বিএনপি চেয়ারপার্সন খালেদা জিয়া বিভিন্ন মাধ্যমে এখনও মরিয়া হয়ে চেষ্টা চালাচ্ছেন যাতে কয়েক মিনিটের জন্য হলেও তিনি বাংলাদেশ সফরে আসা মোদির সঙ্গে সাক্ষাত করতে পারেন।
জানা যায়, বিএনপি চেয়ারপার্সন খালেদা জিয়া এখন সরকার বা জাতীয় সংসদে বিরোধী দলের নেতা না থাকায় মোদির সঙ্গে সাক্ষাতের কোন সুযোগ নেই। তারপরও আগে থেকেই খালেদা জিয়ার পক্ষ থেকে বিভিন্ন মাধ্যমে লবিং করা হয় যাতে তিনি সাক্ষাতের সুযোগ পান। এ জন্য ভারত সরকারের কাছে খালেদা জিয়া একটি আবেদনও করেছিলেন। এমনকি ভারতের সাউথ ব্লকের সঙ্গেও বিএনপির পক্ষ থেকে দেনদরবার করা হয়। কিন্তু তাতে কোন কাজ হয়নি। ভারত সরকার খালেদা জিয়ার আবেদন বিবেচনায় নেয়নি।
অভিজ্ঞ মহলের মতে, মোদির সঙ্গে খালেদা জিয়া সাক্ষাত না পাওয়ার পেছনে কাজ করছে ভারতের রাষ্ট্রপতি প্রণব মুখার্জীর ঢাকা সফরের সময় বিএনপি চেয়ারপার্সনের সাক্ষাত না করার ঘটনাটি। এ ছাড়া টানা অবরোধ কর্মসূচী চলাকালে ভারতের ক্ষমতাসীন দল বিজেপি সভাপতি অমিত শাহ খালেদা জিয়াকে ফোন করেছেন বলে তার গুলশান কার্যালয় থেকে যে মিথ্যা প্রচার চালানো হয় তাকেও ভারত সরকার ভালভাবে নেয়নি। আর এরই খেসারত দিতে হচ্ছে খালেদা জিয়াকে।
৬ জুন ঢাকা সফরে আসছেন ভারতের প্রধানমন্ত্রী নরেন্দ্র মোদি। এ সফরটি দুই দেশের জন্য খুবই গুরুত্বপূর্ণ। কারণ এ সফরেই দুই দেশের মধ্যে বিরাজমান বেশ কয়েকটি সমস্যার সমাধানের ব্যাপারে আনুষ্ঠানিক সিদ্ধান্ত হবে। তাই নরেন্দ্র মোদির এ সফর নিয়ে সরকার ও আওয়ামী লীগ রাজনৈতিকভাবে লাভবান হবেÑ এমনটিই মনে করছেন কূটনৈতিক বিশ্লেষকরা। এ কারণেই বিএনপি চেয়ারপার্সন খালেদা জিয়াও মোদির সঙ্গে সাক্ষাতের মধ্য দিয়ে রাজনৈতিকভাবে কিছুটা সুবিধাজনক অবস্থানে যেতে চেয়েছিলেন। কিন্তু তার সে আশায় গুড়েবালি পড়েছে।
প্রসঙ্গত, প্রণব মুখার্জীর সঙ্গে বিএনপি চেয়ারপার্সন খালেদা জিয়া সাক্ষাত করতে না যাওয়ার বিষয়টিকে ভারতের বিভিন্ন রাজনৈতিক দলসহ সে দেশের মানুষ ভালভাবে নেননি। তবে খালেদা জিয়া মনে করেছিলেন যেহেতু কংগ্রেস সরকারের সময় এ ঘটনাটি ঘটেছিল তাই বিজেপি সরকার হয়ত এ ঘটনাকে খুব বেশি মনে রাখবে না। কিন্তু নরেন্দ্র মোদির সঙ্গে সাক্ষাতের জন্য চেষ্টা করতে গিয়ে বিএনপি নেতারা হাড়ে হাড়ে টের পাচ্ছেন সে সময় খালেদা জিয়া কী ভুল করেছিলেন। আর এ ভুলের মাসুল আরও অনেক দিন বিএনপিকে গুনতে হবে।
২০১৩ সালের ৪ মার্চ বাংলাদেশ সফরের সময় ভারতের রাষ্ট্রপতি প্রণব মুখার্জীর সঙ্গে সোনারগাঁও হোটেলে গিয়ে সাক্ষাত করার কথা ছিল বিএনপি চেয়ারপার্সন খালেদা জিয়ার। সেদিন ছিল ২০ দলীয় জোট বিএনপির শরিক দল জামায়াতের ডাকা হরতাল কর্মসূচী। হরতালের মধ্যে গাড়িবহর নিয়ে গুলশানের বাসা থেকে সোনারগাঁও হোটেলে গেলে হরতাল ভঙ্গ করা হবে এবং এ জন্য দীর্ঘদিনের রাজনৈতিক মিত্র জামায়াত নাখোশ হবে বলে সেদিন খালেদা জিয়া প্রণব মুখার্জীর সঙ্গে সাক্ষাত করতে না গিয়ে শিষ্টাচারবহির্ভূত কাজ করেন। তবে খালেদা জিয়ার এ অবস্থানে খোদ বিএনপির একাংশের নেতাকর্মীরা নাখোশ হলেও জামায়াতের নেতাকর্মীরা বেজায় খুশি হন। প্রণব মুখার্জীর সঙ্গে পূর্বনির্ধারিত সাক্ষাত অনুষ্ঠানে না গিয়ে খালেদা জিয়া যে অসৌজন্যতা দেখিয়েছেন, সে সময় তা নিয়ে দেশে-বিদেশে ব্যাপক সমালোচনা হয়।
আরও একটি কারণে বিএনপি ও খালেদা জিয়ার প্রতি বিজেপি ক্ষুব্ধ। আর তা হচ্ছে বাসা ছেড়ে গুলশান কার্যালয়ে অবস্থানকালে ৭ জানুয়ারি রাত সাড়ে ১০টায় বিজেপি সভাপতি অমিত শাহ খালেদা জিয়াকে ফোন করেছেন বলে বিএনপির পক্ষ থেকে ফলাও করে প্রচার করা হয়। পরদিন দেশ-বিদেশের মিডিয়ায়ও এ খবর গুরুত্ব দিয়ে প্রচার করা হয়। কিন্তু পরবর্তীতে অমিত শাহর পক্ষ থেকে এ খবর ডাহা মিথ্যা বলে জানালে খালেদা জিয়া ও বিএনপি রাজনৈতিকভাবে চরম বেকায়দায় পড়ে। খালেদা জিয়া ও বিএনপির পক্ষ থেকে অমিত শাহকে নিয়ে এভাবে মিথ্যাচার করার বিষয়টিকে বিজেপি, নরেন্দ্র মোদির সরকার এবং ভারতবাসী ভালভাবে নেয়নি। তাই এবার নরেন্দ্র মোদির ঢাকা সফরকালে খালেদা জিয়া যখন তার সঙ্গে সাক্ষাত পাওয়ার চেষ্টা চালান তখনই পূর্বের বিষয়গুলো সামনে চলে আসে।
এ বিষয়ে জানতে চাইলে বিএনপির একজন সিনিয়র নেতা বলেন, খালেদা জিয়া মোদির সঙ্গে সাক্ষাতের সুযোগ পাবেন কিনা এ বিষয়টি আমার জানা নেই। আর বিএনপির ভাইস চেয়ারম্যান শমসের মবিন চৌধুরীর সেলফোনে বার বার কল করেও তার সঙ্গে যোগাযোগ করা সম্ভব হয়নি।

Please disprove that India did not had have its own interest to support the freedom of Bangladesh and was not conspiring against Pakistan throughout its history. Please tell that how have they helped build war-damaged Bangladesh. Everybody knows that it was the Indian Army which had taken away every pieces they captured from the Pak Army. Since Major Jalil protested that looting by the Indian Army, he lost his job. Now, Bangladesh is a eco-political-cultural colony of India!

India did not/does not need to have (armed forces) bases in Bangladesh, because Indian agents (locally and globally) have been serving its interests.

India is
the only Country in the history that didn't stay with a
base in a liberated country like others . Look at US , they
still have their presence in Germany , Korea , Iraq ,
Afghanistan , Thailand ,Phillipine . We should thank India

returning to Demagri loaded with army truck, jeep, cars and
other movable properties. The commander of the ferry was an
Indian Sikh officer. Surely, if Mujib didn't surrender,
the war could have been fought with better show of respect
by Indian soldiers to the integrity of Bangladesh. (Abid

নাকি ১৪ হাজার ভারতীয়
সেনা হতাহত হয়েছে (নিহত
৪ হাজার, আহত ১০ হাজার)।
কিন্তু ইতিহাস তো বলে ঐ
সময় যুদ্ধই নেই, তাহলে
এত লোক হতাহত হলো

কথা যদি সত্য হয়, তবে ১৪
হাজার ভারতীয় বাহিনী
পাকিস্তানী বাহিনীর
সাথে যুদ্ধ করতে নয়, বরং
বাংলাদেশে চুরি করতে
গিয়ে পাবলিকের হাতে
পিটুনি খেয়ে মারা
পরেছিলো।তাই বলছিলুম
কি, বাংলাদেশের
