In a third world country with vast majority below poverty line, giving anybody even 10 katha land in the most prime location of the country is too much. And here we have one (1) huge palatial house (now I know why some call Khaleda the Queen and Tarek the Prince) located on 10 bigha (which is 200 kathas !!!) land inside cantonment and another huge house on 31 katha land in Gulshsn. The total current market value of both properties are 247 crore taka!!!

Bangladesh is not only one of the most corrupt countries in the world, it is really "The MOGER MULLUK". Now we know most among us who are upset about this latest ruling are outwardly very Islamic. They claim they and their party are the ones who represent real Islam. And their top leader is the symbol of Islam ("Khaleda Zia is the symbol of Islam" - MK Anwar, Oct 2008). So we can safely assume she will display some Islamic qualities. Who is bigger, our Prophet (SA) or Zia or Khaleda Zia? How much property the rightly-guided Khalifas allotted to the family of the Prophet (SA) after his death?
Before Hazrat Abu Bakr Siddiq (RA)'s death, he said to his daughter `A'isha (RA), "Do not use new cloth for my shroud. Wash the sheet in my use and wrap my corpse in it". His wish was acted upon. His next wish was to pay all the money he got as salary for Caliph from "Baitul Mal" (The Public Treasury) after selling his garden. He said, I did not like to take anything from the "Baitul Mal but Umar pressed me to accept some allowance so that I would be relieved of my occupation and devote my full time to the duties of the Khilafat. I was left no choice but to accept the offer". After his death 'A'isha asked Hazrat Umar (RA) to take over that garden as desired by her father. Umar remarked: "May Allah bless him. He left no chance for any body to open his lips against him".
We all know how much BNP-Jamaat brag about being Islamic, but isn't their mindset very un-Islamic at the core? Next time we plan to shed tears for Muslim cause, may be we should check our faces in the mirror first.
