[ALOCHONA] Re: Waiting for a Mahathir

You are not a tourist passing through but you are permanent parts of the landscape. I know it well. You do not nourish the flavour of the month but nor do you reference what is happening in our country every day.

You describe me in this manner only because I am angry with India for being unfair and angry with our political establishment. You say I am communal but do not defend India's policies. You say I am a fascist but do not condemn the violence of the cadres of an elected government. You say I am rhetorical but do not even try to challenge me on a single point.

The record will show I never pick a fight with you. Because I believe you are exactly the kind of guy who should be fighting against the number one problem in our country – our political establishment. The rest of the country is stirring and waking up to this problem. @@@@ knows when you will get round to it.

But you like to pick a fight with me. You pretend its fun to get a reaction from me. But that just excuses you from having to make a single rational point. About anything.

There are people who have all the privileges of family, class, education and money. They know reform of AL and BNP is the number one problem but they do not even mention it. Instead they unconditionally support AL or BNP through silence or diversion. They are hypocrites.

It's easy to throw the word rhetorical around. The points I make are simple, clear, easily understood and sound enough to have a chance. You may counter me similarly. But you have never done – not even once. I don't even know how to describe your replies. Rhetorical would be a compliment!

Rumi is so weak, poor thing, and Farida is so delusional.

I can stick up for myself. People know what I stand for and what I want. People know my arguments and my positions. I get enough feedback to gauge where I am. I do my best to be right. I'm wide open to attack. It comes with the turf.

But you? What are you Robin? Who are you? Is your contribution to the national debate just that you mimic Faruque?

Now I'm going to have a spliff and write a poem for you. It will be really vomitty just like you and your friends wanted.

We are totally envious of the clarity of your thoughts & the exquisiteness of your diction. U Da MAN

U have fgured us out..... We are just touristes passing trhough...nourishing in the current flavor of the month, neither here nor there/

Alas Kuwaiti Bongo Man U remain the same, calcified in the old communal crypto-fascist rut pretending to be a nationalist modern. Oh for efficiency and purity what U wouldnt do to maintain cleanliness.  Sorry being a common fly in your rhetorical ointment gives me the utmost pleasure!!!!

Have a spliff might loosen you up in the nether lands.

Actually none of you three can explain the other's opinion though you may all be quite pleased about sharing a joke. Actually I think they resent not being able to talk about what I talk about and they try to mask this inability with smirks and winks. Pathetic really.

And you have never been able to confront hard argument except with stubborn silence. I understand that because, typical for your type, your politics are driven by silent jeedh - real argument has nothing to do with anything.

I am a parasite. I feed on your hypocrisy.

Hypocrite.

Could you please explain what you think Robin's opinion is? It's okay if you can't :)

You were hoping he'd get it. But see, he is too closeted to get the joke. He thinks you and Robin are admiring his abusive arrogance. He's enjoying the attention.  He has nothing to offer beyond abuse, not a single piece of thought. There's a name for such parasitic creatures.

Your comment might induce another hurl from the valiant Acchiles who is sulking in his tent on the desert sands of Kuwait and of his own mind.

Uh I missed Ezajur's latest then!  The thing is I delete all his posts simply out of disgust.  So, unless it appears on someone else's post, I have no way of knowing what his latest "throwing up" is about.   The moment he opens his mouth, he throws up.

You thinks The Fuehrer would more than appreciate that!

Wahay! An opinion! Well done! And you even used the word 'literally'!
I can't complain. Any opinion is better than no opinion.

Aren't you glad the sacred month of February is over? All that hypocrisy and whining about the language movement. Though we still have to get through the sacred month of March. And all this so soon after the sacred month of December. Add to that the sacred month of Ramadan and we Bongus have 4 sacred months out of 12 months! Yahoo!

Keep up the good work. Another couple of sentences and you will have completed your first paragraph. You can do it.

Could you please explain what you think Robin's opinion is? It's okay if you can't :)

Both MUA and MUC gave up on the minus two theory and covered their backsides. But what did you think - we were blind supporters of MUA and MUC? We would want them to rule till they die and to be succeeded by their family members?

Because a new army chief will be appointed by that time and there is every possibility ! that Masud uddin Chowdhury (1/11 general) would be the choice for obvious reasons.

BNP is also a loose organisation and its leadership is very weak, opportunist and corrupt. Besides memories of Hawa bhaban and corruption of Tareq, Koko, Mamun et al are still vivid in people's mind. It is felt that BNP's Chittagong gathering would also be ! a failure while the Dhaka gathering is still a far cry.The West would rather ! wait for a popular movement paving the way for a NGO-led non-party transitional regime than return of BNP.

This will create popular sufferings due to price rise, inflation, energy crisis added by low flow of remittance and uncontrollable law and order situation. Meanwhile Khaleda Zia and others may find themselves behind th e bar.

The West is less likely to support a direct intervention under a changed geo-political scenerio. On the other hand an India-backed intervention would not last long.
