সেদিন জাফর ইকবালের একটা কলাম
(খুব সম্ভবত সমকালে) পড়লাম
যেখানে তিনি লিখেছেন সেই ৭১
সালে মুক্তিযুদ্ধের সময় তার মা
যখন একটা বিপদগ্রস্ত হিন্দু
পরিবারকে আর্থিক সাহায্য
করছিলেন তখন তাদের প্রতিবেশী
মহিলা বলেছিলেন, সাহায্য করতে
হয় কোন মুসলমানকে করুন,
হিন্দুদের করলে কোন সোয়াব
পাবেন না...। আমি যতদূর জানি কোন
অমুসলমানের জন্য দোয়াও করা
যাবে না এইরকম [...]
