এটা শেখ মনি বললেও অন্য সবার ও মনের কথা ছিল.
শেখ মুজিব শুধু মাত্র ছয় বছর (১৯৬৬ - ১৯৭১ six points program) ধনাত্মক রাজনীতি করেছেন. ১৯৪৯ সাল থেকে মাঝের ছয়টি বছর ছাড়া শেষ জীবন পর্যন্ত ঋণাত্মক রাজনীতি করেছেন.
১. শাহেদ আলীর মৃত্যু. (1958)
২. আজাদ সিনেমায় ভাসানীর সম্মেলনে হামলা. (1956)
৩. মৌদুদির মিটিং অ হামলা.(1970)
৪. ঢাকা বিশ্ব বিদ্যালয়ের রেগিস্তেরার কে বাথরুমে তালা দেয়া(1948)
৫. সিরাজ শিকদার কে মেরে ফেলে উল্লাস করা (1975)
৬. গণতন্ত্র হত্যা করা(1975)
৭. আতাউর রহমান খানের মন্ত্রিত্তকে ঝামেলা দেওয়া.(1956)
৮. সেক্রেটারি গেনেরাল শামসুল হক কে ঝামেলা দেওয়া এবং তাড়ানো (1955-56)
৯. আবুল মনসুর, অলি আহাদের মত নেতা দেরকে বিব্রত করা. (all the time)
১০. বাক স্বাধীনতাকে হরণ করা.(1972-1975)
১১. দেশের প্রশাসন এবং পার্টিকে একসঙ্গে গুলিয়ে ফেলা(1972-1975)

Mujib Era:
1) Lack of ideology, vision and conviction
2) Fundamental rights like freedom of expression, freedom of press were gradually eradicated
3) Created one party autocratic rule – BAKSAL/MUJIBBAD.
4) Took command and control of everything like a all-knowing person
5) No clue about party and statehood
6) Nepotism, favoritism, corruption and misuse of power surpassed even pre-Mujib era
7) Immediate family members got involved with unfair means like Gazi Golam Mustafa sucked all aids poured into the country and earn a fame 'Kamble Chor'.
8) New-born country received billions of dollars in aids from foreign donors but all aids disappeared as if the country was a bottomless basket.
9) Thousands of people died in 1974 famine because of the crooked policy and unprecedented corruption
10) Created family guards like Rakhi Bahini, Lal Bahini, Sheccha Shebok Bahini, etc.
Intellectuals like Genereal Osmani and Barrister Moinul Hussain resigned from the parliament to protest against BAKSAL.
A foreign journalist wrote in Far Eastern Economic Review in 1973: "Corruption and malpractices are nothing new. But people of Dhaka thinks the way the corruption and malpractices and plunder of national wealth that had taken place during Sheikh Mujibur Rahman's regime is unprecedented".
