This time, I believe Mr. Mohiuddin Anwar may be genuinely supporting a Hindu President in Bangladesh. This idea was unthinkable to me until I heard it from him. I congratulate him for making such a suggestion, if he meant it, which I believe he did. I whole-heartedly agree with that proposal, not because of my religious affiliation, but because of the implication of such an action. This will surely enhance the image of Bangladesh in the world. I want to see Bangladesh as a role model in the Muslim majority nations around the world. It can show that Bangladesh was born as a secular country, and secularism is still alive and well there not only on paper but also in practice. If this government does it, we could be looking at the next Nobel Laureate from Bangladesh. Jiten Roy
