First let me play a bit of a devil's advocate here. The Hefazati's probably would not object to the sculptures of Jeddah, because they do not glorify any human being. The sculptures of the freedom fighters in Bangladesh do represent glorifications of heroes (human beings).
However, the first tier real question would be whether people could have sculptures or photos of people to look at with love and respect. And the sensible answer would be that they could.
A higher level question would be whether some people have any right to stop some other people from loving and respecting human beings by creating sculptures and photographs. The sensible answer would be, no.
Several other questions can be asked for higher degrees of wisdom. But, of course, the final question in this thought process would be whether a child should be required to follow his/her foreparents' religion. The sensible answer would be, no. A corollary to this would be that no group of Muslims in Bangladesh has a right to force their ways of following Islam on other people.

Awesome. This obviously testifies to the high artistic taste of the moneyed Saudis. It is really good to see that they are so passionately preserving and maintaining them. This also testifies to the fact that the princes are not only tolerating these as opposed to common
belief of many of us, they are also sponsoring these to beautify Jeddah. It is unfortunate that Saudi petrodollars are creating fanaticism in Bangladesh.
