This low IQ Mohish does not even know the smell of his own excretion. Despite countless mentions of the paltry no. of votes Jamaat has been able to muster in election after election since 1970, both in Pakistan and in Bangladesh, Mohish Mohiuddin thinks the number is HUGE.
Anyway, who is talking about voting rights? Unlike the United States, where if you have a criminal record, or have ever been booked as a felon, you're barred from voting. In Bangladesh, it seems having a criminal record is regarded as an asset for a candidate in an election, and voter IDs are issued without any background felony check-ups. So most of the Jamaatis who are felons of one kind or another, will not have their voter rights taken away from them just because they once belonged to a political Party that has been declared illegal.

Contrary to this, as a nation aspiring for democratic development we have to agree to disagree by tolerating other world views. As an independent nation we should allow its citizens not the Awami led corrupt party appointed vandal and murder accused judges to make choices for the people.Surely, the Sheikh led Awami government is not democratic, it is simply the repetition of the BKSAL. Examples abound. In India the communal BJP party that destroyed the Babri mosque in public where many people were also killed, is the official opposition party. This party might even form government in the next election. If BJp was allowed to form government, why in Bangladesh the government of Hasina is so allergic to the Jamat, a small political party in comparison? The reason is is not difficult to understand. The quarrelsome Hasina can not tolerate opposition. She has been destructive to the Bd indigenous institution Gramin Bank, to Dr. Yonus, Ziaur Rahman, Khalida Zia, Tareque Zia, Amer desh, Nayadighanta newspapers, Kader Siddiqui, and even against Hafazati Islam. Her attitude of intolerance even led to her committing three unforgivable massacres: Pilkhana army massacre, Baitul Mokaram massacre and the Shapla Chottor Hafazat massacre by having blackout. Thus, a dark chapter has been written about Hasina and her legacy of killing Bangladeshis and betraying with the sovereignty of Bangladesh.Surely, the Awami claimed problem is not the Jamat, a small political party in Bangladesh, it is in the Awami notion of intolerance, the fascist character of the Sheikh and its Mujib founded cadre based political culture of the Awami League. After all Mujib was a Suhrowardhy muscleman, a cadre. Awami League is a party of thugs only that it can manipulate people's views to come to power and cause anti democratic activities. In the name of liberation war consciousness, secularism, the Awamis are abusing such spirit by establishing their thug culture. What better can you expect from this Sheikh as the PM? As a result, the young generation belonging to the Jamaat-e-Islami are being psychologically reared up and nurtured with anti-liberation sentiments and communal feelings, which is a matter of great anxiety for a nation.�There is no proof before the nation that those who played an anti-liberation role in 1971 have ever changed their attitude towards liberation war by expressing repentance or by showing respect to the departed souls of 3 million martyrs.�Some war crimes judgment�s also said Jamaat played leading role to create Pakistani occupational army�s auxiliary forces like Al-Badr, Razakar, Al Shams and Peace Committee which actively took part in atrocities on Bangalees.Tureen Afroz, prosecutor for the war crimes cases, told The Daily Star they have been working to prepare a case with a tribunal against the Jamaat-e-Islami for its crimes against humanity committed during the Liberation War.PETITIONERS� ARGUMENTSAfter release of the judgment�s full text, it will be known on which grounds the judges gave the verdict.Barrister Tania Amir, counsel for the petitioners, during the case proceedings argued that the EC�s decision to allow Jamaat-e-Islami as a political party was illegal and unconstitutional, as this organisation was a religion-based a communal political party and it did not believe in independence and sovereignty of Bangladesh.Tania told the court that some provisions of Jamaat charter are contrary to Bangladesh�s constitution, the RPO, and the Charter of Medina.The Charter of Medina, signed and executed by Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (pbuh) and representatives of other religions around 1,400 years ago, was inherently secular and essentially democratic, she added.�The people have won,� Tania, who went abroad later in the day, told the Ekattor TV over phone. �Today it has been established in Bangladesh that if any political party goes to people, begging for votes, it must accept that all powers in the republic belongs to the people.�
