'Partition divided Muslims in 3 nations'

"The only nation that forged into one unit among these is the Hindu population of India," Maulana Fazl said while addressing a Shaikh Al-Hind conference here.

He said the first and foremost right of an individual is freedom while the responsibility of his/her life and property rests with the state. However, he added, that the state has failed in its duty to provide protection.

The ruling class that has continued to impose itself on people over the past 65 years has been unable to safeguard the people's right to live.

He said according to the Supreme Court the FC and intelligence agencies are responsible for the mutilated bodies and missing persons. "From Karachi to Chitral, the entire country is presenting a picture of a security state," he lamented.

The division of the sub-continent not only divided the muslims into three pieces but also stopped the spreading of Islam among the Hindues in India. Maulana Fazal ur Rehman is very much right here.

Muslim apart from first few years have never been one nation. Thanks to these Mullahs we are now unable to live peacefully. We despartly need a movement to get rid of all mullahs from our society and start fresh with the university educated religious leaders.
