Re: [mukto-mona] Sayidee may not get a death sentence!

Yet the Prosecution has made a mess in framing his charges and bungled idiotically in the matter of producing witnesses at the Tribunal.

>>>>>>>>>> NO one needed to block roads or take any additional trouble IF our government officers did a little less politics and little more work (They get paid for it). Our state prossecution team is incapable and failed to make their case in years.

Desperate people are seeking murder (Fashi) for alleged criminals. But "We the people" pay salaries of our public officials.

People voted overwhelmingly to put current BAL to power. Sadly over and over again they failed to even make a case on behalf of our fallen heroes. To the world, we look like a bunch of desperate people who is seeking "Murder".

It is NOT our core nature and we deserve better.

Not only that, now a large number of our ministers are in Shahbaj square to "Show solidarity" with people and "Demand hanging" of alleged criminals. Therefore, to non-Bangladeshis a part of government failed to make their case (Which was an election promise to the nation) and another part of the government is openly defying court order!!

Only in Bangladesh this is possible. This sort of protest is the job of opposition party (Not sitting party). I am sad that, BNP was not able to make a solid statement to outline their ideas on this whole process.

For a functioning democracy and a civilized country, we need both sitting administration and opposition party to do their jobs (For public) properly. Please stand up and deliver!!

Shalom!

Subject: [mukto-mona] Sayidee may not get a death sentence!

According to the publicity machine of Jamaat, (fake) Maulana Delawar Hossain Sayidee is such a high calibre ALEM that he sits as a religious consultant on the Sharia Council of Islami Bank of Bangladesh. In other words, Sayidee, who is now on the docks charged with crimes against humanity at the ICT, Dhaka, has continued his murderous activities even after 1971 and is now directly connected to funding Islamist terrorism through Islami Banks in Bangladesh.

Yet the Prosecution has made a mess in framing his charges and bungled idiotically in the matter of producing witnesses at the Tribunal. It is my personal guess that it may not be possible for the Tribunal to pronounce the verdict of a death sentence for Sayidee. Be mentally prepared, Shahbagh! In fact it would be a good idea at this stage to declare cooperation with the Tribunal and offer it any assistance it may require from you.

The most important achievement of this movement was to get the Law passed by the Parliament to count Jamaat as a 'body' or an organization which took part in committing crimes against humanity in 1971.
