Let us see where we go from here. I am for democracy in our country. However the current form is putting a huge burdon on common people.

This level of violence is effecting all of us regardless of our religious identity. I'll blame all political parties for their respective parts.

Hindus are used as political punching bag once more. This needs to stop and leadership of Hindu community need to speak to our administration.

As people we are not fanatics and timing of current violence reminds us about political link to it.

We simply want to live peacefully.

If these trials are not finished with satisfactory outcome, meaning if verdicts are not up to the expectations of the people, especially the young people, it will be apparent that Awami League just wanted to use these trials for political gain. At that moment, people will lose faith in the Awami League. The result will be dire for Awami League, probably the end, because, Awami League will not be able to regain that trust back. Under that condition, it is highly likely that a third secular/progressive party will emerge out of the youth movement. That will not be so bad, isn’t it?

Now we hear, Awami League is sheltering some collaborators. Also Awami Leaguers are involved in many of those attacks on Hindu families in Bangladesh (Kustia, Chittagong, etc.). I am waiting for an alternative to Awami League…. please come forward …..
