লন্ডনে তথ্যমন্ত্রী ইনুকে কিল ঘুষি, ডিম নিক্ষেপ

যুক্তরাজ্য সফররত তথ্যমন্ত্রী হাসানুল হক ইনুর ওপর আক্রমণ করেছে অজ্ঞাত পরিচয়ের দুই যুবক। তারা ইনুকে কিল-ঘুষি মারে এবং এক পর্যায়ে পচা ডিম ছুড়ে মেরে অপেক্ষমাণ গাড়িতে করে পালিয়ে যায়। স্থানীয় সময় সোমবার রাত সাড়ে ১০টায় পূর্ব লন্ডনে বেসরকারি টেলিভিশন চ্যানেল এটিএন বাংলার অফিসে এ ঘটনা ঘটে।
সোমবার পূর্বনির্ধারিত সূচি অনুযায়ী লন্ডনে বাংলাদেশ হাইকমিশনে ই-কমার্স বিষয়ক সমাপনী অনুষ্ঠানে যোগ দেন তথ্যমন্ত্রী। এরপর একটি টকশোতে অংশ নেয়ার জন্য তিনি রাত সাড়ে ১০টার দিকে এটিএন বাংলার অফিসে হাজির হন। এ সময় স্ত্রী আফরোজা হক এবং বাংলাদেশ হাইকমিশনের প্রটোকল অফিসার ও ড্রাইভার তার সঙ্গে ছিলেন। প্রত্যক্ষদর্শীদের বরাত দিয়ে যুক্তরাজ্যে অবস্থানরত আমাদের বিশেষ প্রতিনিধি অলিউল্লাহ নোমান ও লন্ডন প্রতিনিধি তারেক চৌধুরী আরও জানান, ওই হামলায় ৬-৭ যুবক অংশ নিয়েছিল। তবে অভ্যর্থনা কক্ষের ভেতরে ঢুকে সরাসরি দুজন এই হামলায় অংশ নেয়। তথ্যমন্ত্রী এটিএন বাংলার অভ্যর্থনা কক্ষে অবস্থানকালে হঠাত্ই সেখানে অজ্ঞাত পরিচয়ের দুই যুবক গিয়ে হাজির হয়। তারা মন্ত্রীকে সালাম দিয়ে তার সঙ্গে ছবি তোলার কথা বলে ও তার কাছে যায়। এ সময় অতর্কিতে তার ওপর হামলা করে এলোপাতাড়ি বেশকিছু কিল-ঘুষি মারে; তার কয়েকটি তথ্যমন্ত্রীর মাথা ও গায়ে লাগে বলে প্রত্যক্ষদর্শীরা জানান। এটিএন বাংলার নিরাপত্তারক্ষী ও তথ্যমন্ত্রীর প্রটোকল কর্মকর্তা দুই যুবককে ধরার চেষ্টা করলে তারা তথ্যমন্ত্রীর দিকে কয়েকটি পচা ডিম ছুড়ে রাস্তায় অপেক্ষমাণ গাড়িতে উঠে পালিয়ে যায়।
