Yes, Nietzsche was a philosopher and ventured a wide array of subjects and displayed his fondness for metaphor, irony and aphorism. His key ideas encircled many aspects of life including apollonian and dionysian dichtomies. His radical questioning of the value and objectivity of truth remains socially prevalent till today. Metaphorically putting the term "death of God" sometimes reflects our misunderstanding about today's politics and governance. I remember, back in previous election during the Hon Khaleda's regime (when they came to power), there was a mass killing and torture on minority group in greater Barisal district. The media reporting were so touching that I wrote an article in one of the social group titled "Is Allah Hiding?" and obviously that created a stir among the subscribers and I was barely hanging on and somehow survived.
Now we are talking about Hon Sk. Hasina's present formation of government, the anarchy in Bangladesh, arson, destruction of properties, killing of innocent peoples and dismay economic picture of the country. Basically we are circling around the same terrible situation in every election year and getting worse every year. Borrowing the teachings of Nietzche, Hegel, Descrates, Berkeley, Schopenhauer et. al., and their investigations on individual motivation it safe to conclude that the human desire is futile, illogical, directionless, and, by extension, so is all human action in the world. Schopenhauer wrote "Man can indeed do what he wants, but he cannot will what he wants". The "Will" is a malignant, metaphysical existence which controls not only the actions of individual, intelligent agents, but ultimately all observable phenomena; an evil to be terminated via mankind's duties: asceticism and chastity.
What is happening in Bangladesh over a decade is the lack of responsiveness from its citizenry. Our political system failed as well as government and other institutions became dysfunctional, and we are always trying to work around it. Ethics and morality are out of the door, gaining wealth using muscle power, constitutional position holders serving at will of the appointed authority etc., creating a new form of democracy or governance. As if Bangladesh is a part of an alien planet. Politicians are guided by egoism and malice. Egotistic acts are guided by self-interest, desire for pleasure or happiness. Putting a Band-Aid works sometimes but does not have the ability to put the country on the track for a stable future.
Please seat back and think. Visit your constitution and try to identify the main causes for such political mess in Bangladesh. It tells all. Just criticizing the system will not be sufficient.

Nietzsche famously know for saying that God is dead. He is also known for saying that modern state is an Organized Immorality. He questioned, 'How is it achieved that a great mass ( the nation state ) does things the individual would never consent to do'? So if God is dead and State is evil then where do the ordinary man turn to for help? His answer was some sort of superman who would make things whole again. Some people think Hitler was the product of the Nietzsche's superman theory. So basically he is not much help for us. As somebody said, there is no moon in Nietzsche's sky, only screeching owl. But he made some excellent points.
Year was 1996, I think.
Bill Clinton going to visit India. There was thirty five Sikhs men massacred in Kashmiri village of Chitisinghpura.
The everybody knew that it was the Muslims who did it. Many Muslims were rounded up and killed, both by Indian security forces and outraged civilians. Years later it was found out that the Sikh massacre was done by Indian Secret Service to silence Clinton about Kashmir. This is one of the example of Organized Immorality. There are so many of these of state sponsored Organized Immorality around the world in recent history that Nietzsche is quite relevant for his insight.
Some people are drawing
parallel between Kashmir and Bangladesh these days. Looks like PM is relishing every moment of this situation. Her main helpers are the well trained, well equipped security force elites who were recruited from Chatra League cadres and Gopalganj area residents. These bunch were trained in India. There is no way to get out of this mess we are in now without getting into deeper mess. Organized Immorality is in action in full force. Yes, there is no inspiring alternatives either.
