Re: [mukto-mona] Re: {PFC-Friends} I ALSO LIKE SUCHITRA SEN BUT!!!!

Well, now we have a 'Bir Protik', who also needs some garbage cleaning from his brain! This idiot even writes with disdain, 'They always propagated their faith and culture during their artistic and literary works.' So, non-Muslim culture is not Bangladeshi culture, and non-Muslims are not to be Bangladeshis, right?

Thank you Dr.Abid Bahar,I agree with your comments and deeply appreciate your patriotism.Like many I used to be a great fan of Suchitra Uttam movies in my youth and young age.I adore her great artistic talents and geniousity. But I don't accept her as Bangladeshi hero as is the case with Tagore. They are Indian Bangali heroes. They always propagated their faith and culture during their artistic and literary works.
As for some Indian loving worshipping so called intellectuals(paid agent) along with the Indian servile govt  to retrieve and build museum in the abandoned properties is shameful and outrageous. These Indian lovers and the servile govt never respect the Shaheeds and heroes of our great liberation war ,many of the shaheeds lying all over Bangladesh nobody cares about them or their families,true/honest freedom fighters are living in extreme hard ships but those Indian worshippers are busy in spending crores of public money for the foreign friends inviting in lavish parties in 5 star hotels to show their love and respect for them.
A nation which does not honour and respect the talented sons and doughters of the soil is the most wretched,Unfortunately and painfully Bangladesh is the only such nation in the globe. One vivid example is Dr.Yunus,I don't know him personally, but his amazing work to elminate poverty in Bagladesh and  abroad, earned him Nobel Award,Presidential Honour Award and Congressional Honour Award the highest award in U.S.A. made me extremely proud of him.He is the only Nobel Laureat of Bangladesh, but unfotunately instead of honouring such a great prsonality has been subjected to slander, abuses, insults and humiliations.Vollies of lies, distortions and threats against him is scary,if this be his situation one can well imagine how insecure and precarious the lives of the ordinary citizens are.It is a shame that the so called foreigner servile elite class/intellectuals are totally dumb about the citizen, instead they are inviting foreign Nobel Laureat to teach Bangladeshis religions and cultures.
Now is the time for all patriotic citizens to come forward and stand against these evil forces who are trying to subject this great nation of ours to slavery. It is time to tell our present generation and the future progeny the glorious stories of our present and past heroes. We must know the sacrifices of Nowab Siraj,Salimullah,Mir Qasim,Mojnu Shah,Shamsher Gaz,Abu Torab,Haji Shariot Ullah,Nuruddin,Titu Mir,Tipu Sultan,Fazlul Haque,Moulana Bhashani,Gen.Osmany,Syed Ahmed Berlavi,Khan Bahadur Alauddin Choudhury,Noab Faizunnessa,Begum Rokeya,Shaheed Zia and many others .I never see thse servile intellectuals write about those real herors of ours,. Regards
Capt.(Retd) Syed M Ahmed, Bir Protik.

I ALSO LIKE SUCHITRA SEN BUT!!!!
Abid Bahar
Like many of her fans, I also like Suchitra Sen but it seems in 1946 her family voluntarily left East Bengal for India. Similarly many Muslim families (politicians, artists, scientists, businessmen of India) also left Calcutta, and other parts of India to settle in East Bengal. In both cases they voluntarily left behind their properties. Suhrowarthy, Shere Bangla are only few people we know who had properties in Calcutta and in India. Strange but true, Indian or West Bengali government never asked Bangladesh government to return their properties in Calcutta or in other regions of India. To our knowledge, the present Gandhi house in Calcutta was owned by a rich Muslim gentleman. The Dalai Lama residence in northern India was used to be a Mosque complex given to the Buddhist Dalai Lama.

To repossess Suchitra family's abandoned property to make room for a Museum, we want to know: Did Suchitra play any role in our liberation war? Did she protest against India's Farakka dam or all along she was an Indian by heart? Like Tagore, the Indian Bengali who opposed the establishment of Dhaka university, is it also possible that Sen and her family didn't like the entity East Bengal/ Bangladesh? Thus, in renaming the present Gazzali house named the by local people to an abandoned house, for a Suchitra Musium, would be similar to the making of a private Muslim home for a Gandhi museum in Calcutta. In both cases, we are actually showing disrespect to one to show respect to the other.  Under the circumstances, we suggest that people have the right to show respect to Suchitra as an artist but govt. shouldn't rename the place, for she unfortunately neglected East Bengal and opted for India. While leaving East Bengal, no doubt at the time her family seems to have abandoned/betrayed with East Bengal.

Under the circumstances, we want to know why the India-lover Awami puppets are in the business of only giving transit, renaming, or returning properties to Indian citizens when we have only so little for us?
