Re: [mukto-mona] Fw: BANGLADESH IS MOVING FORWARD UNDER THE PRUDENT LEADERSHIP OF HON. SHEIKH HASINA !!!!!!

Some progress have been made despite our our culture of corruption. Our corruption is not created from the vacuum. The disease comes from poor education, low ethics and morality. People pray five times a day but that has not changed anybody' mind. Only honest people I know who have no other choice but to be honest. Yes, that is us! And, that is a huge tragedy.

A. Rahman has thrown some blank statements about Bangladesh; it's ranting only.

The fact is - country has prospered and progressed a lot from where I left it. Just this morning, Prime Minister said that - soon 4-lane highways will connect rest of the country with Dhaka, metro-rail will connect suburbs with Dhaka, underwater Tube across Jamuna will connect east and west, digital world has already reached remote villages, etc., etc. These are all progresses; isn't it?

If Bangladesh cannot achieve progress now, it will be because opposition party is hell-bent on derailing all good initiatives; any progress under this government is a defeat for BNP.  They are etching themselves  to throw this government out of power. Mirza Fakrul said - BNP will show - how long this government can stay in power if law and order administration relaxes their control over them. You cannot expect progress under this type of political environment. Can you? I know people will say - Awami League did the same when they were in the opposition. That's not totally correct; country became stagnant under BNP rule at that time. There were valid reasons for such movement. Now, it's different; country is progressing under this government, while some people can see it or not.
I can accept a dictator if country progresses under his/her rule. That's the most important thing to me. I do not expect Jeffersonian democracy in a country like Bangladesh. Even though I did not like the way this government came to power, but I like what this government is doing. It was BNP which created such situation.  Now, BNP has no right to derail any of these good initiatives for their political expediencies.

You should also say:

Bangladesh has consistently maintained a very top position in the list of corrupt nations (produced by the United Nations) for the last 15 to 20 years.

Bangladesh, even after 43 years of independence, is one of the Least Developed Countries (LDC) in the world along with Rwanda, Nigar, Sikkim, Sudan etc. Even Botswana, Maldives, Samoa are better than LDCs; they are developing countries.

Bangladeshi Ministers are most idiotic and bogheaded human beings.
