We are observing with great concern and worry since last few months that - some TV authority-presenter-host (like Mr. Anjan Roy & Dr. Kanak Sarwar of ETV, So-called SONGSKAR BADEE Mr. Mahmudur Rahman Manna, Mr. Gulam Murtuza of Falu's RTV) and some specially selected guests speakers at 'talk show' (most of them are either overt or covert NaPaki -Jamat – BNP supporter) of few private TV channels are spreading –
(b) 'Mix' of truth - lies and / or
Some of the guest speakers at those 'talk show' are provocating for a so-called GANA OVVUTHAN (Mass uprising) during last BNP-Jamat meeting day!
They are very desperate now, because now they have realized and seen that present government are serious and taking effective steps against:
(a) Established corruptions of Jamat-BNP Ministers-leaders and
(b) Trial of 1971 War criminals.
All these 'propaganda war' are desperately carried out in the name and shield- musk of democratic right - in the very open and press freedom atmosphere - created by present government
But does the democracy give the right or privilege to anyone or any authority to (one sided) spread of :
1. 'complete' lies and / or
2. 'mix' of truth - lies and / or
3. distorted and wrongly fabricated information - data etc
Against any person or government to agitate common people!
This TV propaganda war group includes - ETV also - which was 1st allowed to broadcast in last AL era (1996- 2001) and then banned by Jamat-BNP govt (2001- 2006).
I am not saying that ALL Awami Leaguers are 100 % honest (DHUA TULSI PATA) and ALL NaPaki Jamat-BNPs are 100% corrupt.
Facts and history proves that 70% to 80% of Awami League ministers-leaders-workers-supporters are more or less – better, honest and sincere
On the other hand 70% to 80% of BNP ministers-leaders-workers-supporters (including Khaleda-Tarek) are more or less dishonest and corrupt!
I can quote (neither verbal nor perception - all are printed and publicly published documented proofs) of corruption against 95% of top ex BNP ministers-MPs-leaders (including their Prime Minister Khaleda, 2nd man Saifur Rahman) who were involved with corruption (financial-administrative irregularities).
Those 'corruption' report were published in the standard and popular daily news paper of Bangladesh (and also in international media) – during their era and also afterwards - without any rejoinder or protest from those Ministers, MPs, leaders.
Some of them are accused and convicted by overseas authority in Canada, USA, Singapore etc
Other than the reports and news of hundreds of corruption-misrule from the media - many corruption complain - charges were claimed-raised by their own Party Ministers, MP and leaders (including Dr. B Chowdhury, Coln Oli) when they were in power,
So, AL era and BNP era are not same.
Difference between them are not even 19 - 20, it is 10 – 20 or more
We have to differentiate between bad-good-better
A 1st class holder cannot be (should not be) evaluated or compared or judge against a 2nd class holder !!!
Let we become more active, more vocal, against all these overt and covert NaPaki-Jamat activist-supporters and resist them, defeat them.
InsaAllah we shall overcome this time also like how we won 1971!
