[mukto-mona] BTRC must stop their harassment of independent bloggers!



Bangladesh government must stop their harassment of independent bloggers and allow them to write freely.

It has been reported that various Bangla blog sites received an order through email from Bangladesh Telecommunication Regulatory.  Signed by the Assistant Director, the order instructs to cancel the accounts of a few bloggers and to send their personal information- IP address, location, email address, cell phone number and real name in next 24 hours to BTRC and asked to close down some accounts.

Due to such pressure, the account of Asif Mohiuddin, one of the popular bloggers of somewherein  has  already been closed. We think that is a harassment on free speech and freethought movement that has been developed in last few years bangla blog sites.  Here is my reaction in one Bangla newspaper:
