This time we know who the criminals were. They are not social miscreants in the sense that all the attacks were organized by Jamat-Shibir group. People from all walks of life should recognize it and must not feel shy to say it loudly. Unfortunately this is not happening for political and probably ideological reasons. BNP is playing the worst role this time.
BNP has risked it's future prospect by siding with Jamat and opposing the Shahbag movement.

This time criminals behind all acts of violence should be punished. People have abused religion, ideologies etc for thousands of years. But in this day and age it should NOT be tolerated. I seek attention from our home ministry to at least start punishing criminals. Playing political football with lives of Hindus is too brutal for us (Mainstream common people).
It is NOT fitting for our government to simply put blame on opposition. You have to do more than that. You have to take measurable steps to protect our non-Muslim brothers and sisters. Please refrain from making statements and kindly get back to work.
If you start protecting innocents, the vote will automatically follow.

ধর্মের নামে আমাদের ভাইয়েরা যে ধ্বংসাত্মক কার্যক্রম দেশব্যাপী হিন্দুদের উপর চালাচ্ছে তা আমি তাদেরকে বন্ধ করতে বলছি না। কারণ আমি জানি তারা এই কাজ থেকে বিরত হবেন না। অন্য ধর্মের প্রতি কোন শ্রদ্ধা তাদের নেই।
তবে তাদের প্রতি আমি আকুল আবেদন জানাচ্ছি, দয়া করে মানুষের শেষ আশ্রয় বসবাসের ঘর বা জীবিকা নির্বাহের উপায় ব্যবসা প্রতিষ্ঠান ধ্বংস করবেন না। এই ধরনের কর্মকান্ড ক্ষতিগ্রস্থ পরিবারগুলোর জন্য কি পরিমাণ হৃদয়বিদারক তা সর্ম্পকে কি আপনাদের কোনো ধারণা রয়েছে। ধারণা অবশ্য থাকার কথাও নয় কারণ আপনারা যতটা না বিবেকবান তার চেয়েও বেশী ধার্মিক।
আমরা দেখছি আমাদের প্রিয় মুসলিম ভাইয়েরা বাংলাদেশের তৃতীয় শ্রেণীর নাগরিক হিন্দুদের বাড়িঘর-ব্যবসা ও মন্দিরে আগুন জ্বালিয়ে দিচ্ছে। অথচ পরের দিন আপনারা বলছেন এমন কোনো ঘটনা তারা ঘটায়নি। আমরা দেখছি ধ্বংসাত্মক কর্মকান্ড পরিচালনার পর বিএনপি-জামায়াত ঘটনার দায় অস্বীকার করে অন্যের উপর চাপিয়ে দিচ্ছে। তবে এটা অবশ্যই ধন্যবাদের যোগ্য যে, উন্নয়নশীল বাংলাদেশকে তারা তৃতীয় শ্রেণীর নাগরিক মুক্ত করে বিশ্বের প্রথম শ্রেণীর রাষ্ট্রের কাতারে নিয়ে যাচ্ছেন।
