Police arrested four people from Gobindasi at Bhuapur upazila in Tangail district early Monday on charge of attaching poster of Hefajat-e-Islam Bangladesh.

Officer-in-charge of Bhuapur Police Station Hares Ali said the arrested are students and they were held while pasting Hefajat's poster at Barkat crossing.

The arrested were identified as Nahid and Rezaul Karim, students of Gobindasi Gorosthan Hafezia Madrasah, Tanvir Ahmed, student of Gobindasi High School and Oli Ahmed, student of Kostopara Madrasah.

Later, they were shown arrested under section 54.
