Re: [mukto-mona] Relationship between Bangladesh and India must be based on mutual respect [HASINA SELLING BANGLADESH. STOP HER!]-

Member Bain,

We are SIMPLY talking politics and policies. NO one is preparing to give their daughters away to "China". So a little proportionate response will be helpful. It looks like your "Ego" is forcing you to abandon logic here.

I say the same when I met fanatic anti-Indians as well. Having good relations with India does NOT mean I have to endorse all of their policies. We do not that much power!

When we discuss politics, it generally means we are talking about which countries gives us better access via trade, regional and global policies.

I think most of us are aware China and Indian policies about religion. While it is fine to "Consider" it but this sole item should not drive our political relationships. We have to examine which relation serves our country's (And people in it) interest.

Despite the myth about Islam among ill informed people, Islam does not stop us from gaining friends from other faiths or other countries.

Shalom!

The love of the Bangladeshi Islamic idols for China cannot really be to admire the smart communists. China has a policy of no religious education until a child finishes the 9th grade. That would virtually guarantee removing religion from the Muslims of China. Without serious childhood brainwashing, no humans with his/her natural intelligence can be religious. China is no long-term friend of the idiots of any religion.

China treats Taiwan as an integral part of china. China has in it's possession about 10000 sq-miles of Indian land in addition to a part of J&K. Tibet is a well known land of dispute. There was a report that china has dispute with India over water sharing. China seems to be potentially a greater danger than Pakistan. Indian nuclear armament is more of a reaction to China's nuclear armament. China betrayed our aspiration for freedom. I think Bangladesh got Chinese recognition after assassination of Mujib. Deelder has already mentioned how Vietnam and Cambodia feel about China's policy       . China has already earned bad reputation for software piracy and unethical business practices. Even America cannot do any thing about it. China is now a superpower.
